01 · The story

For Kep International Art Week, Art for Kep has brought together Cambodian and international artists to translate ten former fishing boats into powerful new artworks. From 11–14 December, the coast will become a magical landscape of sculpture, light, sound, memory, and imagination.

Each transformed boat carries two stories: the life it once lived on the water, and the new vision created by its artist. Presented alongside a passport tracing its former owner, the works create an intimate connection between Kep’s maritime heritage and contemporary creativity.
