Kite Festival

With ACDK. Government sector (~100 kites) then schools (~200). Judged on traditional technique, craftsmanship, flight, visual presentation. Two drone operators all day.

Sat 13 Dec · Pier

Contemporary dance

Two performances of 20 minutes. Pier as stage; promenade and beach as audience. Not classical Khmer — contemporary movement responding to the coast. Choreographer TBC.

Fri & Sat · Pier

Live music

Friday: Mahori ensemble, 30 minutes at 18:00. Saturday: one Cambodian and one international musician or ensemble, 20:15–22:30.

Daily · The Wave

Signature cocktails

One Cambodian ingredient a day — lemongrass, tamarind, palm sugar, kaffir lime or pandan as working examples — with a non-alcoholic version of each.

Satcha

Satcha occupies the sandy area next to the Discovery Centre, by the Wave and the pier. Open all four days as retail and demonstration. Listed in the printed programme and on site signage. Post-event arrangement to be confirmed with the Satcha team.

Kite Festival notes

Organiser: ACDK jointly with Art for Kep. Government category: City Hall, Provincial Hall, departments of Kep and Kampot. School category: private and government schools, primary and secondary judged separately. Minimum three ACDK judges per category.
